Educators Who Inspire

Everyone has people who they look up to.
Some of you may look up to your parents, siblings, grandparents, pro athletes, and even celebrities. In the education world teachers look up to other teachers, advisors, philosophers, and many more who interact within the education field.
I have attached a document with some of the educators that myself and others look up to. They are teachers who use technology, games, questions and projects to help make learning fun. They have inspirational ideas and thoughts which they share on their blogs or twitter.
Feel free to read about them and maybe even explore their blogs and twitter pages. Who knows you may find someone who inspires you too.

Welcome Everyone! Welcome to Miss Kerr's class!

I will use this website to keep you all updated and informed. I will post about any upcoming events, assignment reminders and general school information.
You will find general updates on the Home page here, as well as reminders to check the other tabs.
I have then provided a section for a Calendar, which I will do my best to update with important dates for our class.
You will then find a very helpful Homework tab. The homework tab will be updated daily, so if you are sick or are away you will know what homework needs to be done. It's also a good place to check due dates and see if there is any work you need to catch up on.
The School tab is where you will find general school updates such as, for events going on around the school, sports, clubs, potential snow days, and school recognitions.
The Parents tab will help all your parents with any questions they may have. Parents you will find my contact information here and some FAQ's and updates just for you.
Lastly there is our Resources tab. This tab will be for any links, videos and additional resources we talked about in class. I will even add some resources to help you with your homework.
